50th Annual President’s Dinner to be Held June 3

The 50th annual President's Dinner and Reception at Stonehill College will be held on Thursday, June 3 at the Sally Blair Ames Sports Complex. Approximately 800 neighbors, friends and alumni are expected to attend this year's dinner, which will celebrate a half century of partnerships.

President Mark T. Cregan, C.S.C. '78, honorary chairman of the event, will present the President's Award for Excellence.

One of Stonehill's highest honors, the award is presented to individuals and organizations that have made unique and outstanding contributions to public life, business, and to the arts and sciences.

The raffle drawing for the Mercedes-Benz E-Class E350 Sport Sedan will also be held that night. Raffle drawings for cash prizes of $2,500 and $1,000 will also be held. All proceeds will be used to support Stonehill students. Tickets are $100 each or $250 for three tickets. For more information on the raffle, visit here.

Since 1960, the President's Dinner has honored educational service and leadership in the community.

"This year's event will be an eloquent celebration of what we have accomplished together over the past half century," says President Cregan. "During that time, our friends and neighbors have stood by us, supported us and encouraged us."

Last year, nearly 700 neighbors, friends, and alumni attended the President's Dinner, raising $100,700 for academic initiatives at the College.
